Department of
Pediatrics of Al Jedaani Group of Hospitals is a Premier
Tertiary level department since it takes care of both
preventive and curative aspects of children's health. The
Department extends round- the- clock services with in- house
pediatricians and is backed by a team of highly qualified
consultants in both medical and surgical subspecialties. The
department has out- patient clinics for baby checks,
Immunization and other problems and Adolescent clinics. The
Ambulatory Pediatric Services Department renders round-the
-clock emergency services.
The department has well equipped Neonatal intensive care
units, managed by qualified nurses, duty pediatricians and
backed by highly qualified consultants, neonatologists and
pediatric surgeons. The Department has good Pediatric medical
and surgical intensive care units. It also has neonatal and
pediatric ventilation.
All types of
illnesses with or without complications are easily managed
because of inter departmental references and Intensive Care
Unit in the hospital. Particularly Cardiac, Respiratory,
Neurological, renal and Haematological complications are
competently managed with appropriate and latest modalities of
treatment in the wards and Intensive Care Units. The newborn
nursery also is a tertiary level centre and receives newborn
infants for intensive care from all over the city. Prenatal
services and counseling are also offered.
