Orthopedic:

The Department of Orthopedics is equipped with most modern state-of-the art equipment for the treatment of trauma of the musculo-skeletal system. It is headed by consultants and ably assisted by specialist. A number of orthopedic procedures like hip, knee replacement are also done here.  The department of orthopedic surgery treats all kinds of musculo skeletal problems ranging from Arthritis to sports medicine, to complex broken bones, bone tumors and childhood conditions like scoliosis.

The department specializes in latest techniques and treatments such as minimally invasive surgery, cartilage and bone transplantation, spine surgery and limb sparing surgery.  Wide range of fractures and joint injuries are treated employing the latest techniques.  A wide range of spinal surgery including fixation, stabilization and fusion is regularly undertaken.  The department is ably supported by the Physiotherapy department.
